From Timor towards St. Helena – 1792

Saturday October 27th

 1 pm: Fresh Gale and fair weather

 3 pm: Sailmaker repairing the second best foresail

 5 pm: Set Top Gallant Sails

 7 pm: worked the Pumps – In Top Gallant Sails & Fore Top Mast Steering Sail

 8 pm: Ditto Weather

12 mid: Ditto Weather

 5 am: Fine clear weather – set Top Gallant Sails and Fore Top Mast & Lower Steering Sail – Saw Tropic birds Sheerwaters & flying fish

 8 am: Served thick portable Soup gruel for Breakfast – Cleaned below and aired in the Fore & After Cockpit with fires – People employed washing and mending their cloaths – Served Krout

11 am: In Top Gallant Sails & Fore Top Mast Steering Sail

12 noon: Saw a Carys Chicken – At Noon Fresh Gale and fair weather – Assistant in Company
