7 pm: Worked the pumps as usual – at 6 In steering Sails and 1st Reefs of the Topsails – Saw a brown Sheerwater Set the Fore Top Mast Studding Sail
8 pm: at 8 Fresh Breeze and fair weather
12 mid: Squally with Light showers, hauled down the Fore Top Mast Studding Sail
2 am: Fresh breeze and cloudy
5 am: Set the Fore and Fore Top Mast Steering Sail – Scrubbed the Hammock Cloths – The People had the same kind of breakfast as yesterday
10 am: Cleaned below – Shifted the Ships Companys Hammocks and aired their bedding –
