 1 pm: Fresh Gale and cloudy weather

 2 pm: Down Top Gallant Yards

 3 pm: Anchored in the Bay and [sic] English Whaler

 5 pm: Fresh Gale and Squally weather – Struck Lower Yards and Top Gallant Masts

 7 pm: Strong Gale and Squally, Struck the Topmasts and overhauled a range of the Sheet Cable

12 mid: Squally weather

 3 am: Moderate and cloudy weather

 7 am: Fresh Gale and Squally, received mutton Bread and Greens – Sailmaker and Cooper at the Tent

 9 am: Anchored here a French Ship and another left the Bay for Martinique with Slaves

12 noon: Strong Gale and Squally weather
