 2 am: Squally with light rain – Took in the Studding sails

 4 am: Dark cloudy Weather threatning rain – the Greenhouses abaft uncovered to receive it

 5 am: At Day break – Set all the Studding sails – the Watch upon Deck scrubbing their Hammocks Saw many flying Fish – Served Slops to the Ships Company – Exercised Great Guns and small Arms – At 10 Out 1st reefs – People making Points and spun yarn – A Cask of Spruce Beer broached as before
