Bond's Providence Logbook Jul 19, 1793

Remarks &c Friday 19th July 1793

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fine weather

 2 pm: Roused up the best bower and stream Cables, and cleared the Tier – payed them down again.

 5 pm: Sailmakers repairing the lower steering sail

 6 pm: Worked the pumps, and exercised great guns

 8 pm: Ditto Weather

12 mid: Cloudy weather

 1 am: Light showers of rain.

 2 am: Dark cloudy weather to the Southward

 4 am: Moderate breezes and hazy. Assistant and Thomas in company – Antelope & Clementson 6 or 7 miles astern. Scrubbed the Watch's & Idlers bags.

 7 am: Gruel breakfast for the people – A small shower of rain

 8 am: At 8 fair weather Exercised great Guns and small Arms. People washing and mending their clothes.

11 am: At 11 in royals. Spoke the Assistant per signal Served Krout; and Portable soup in the Pease for dinner
