Bond's Providence Logbook Nov 20, 1792

Remarks &c from Timor towards St. Helena 20th November 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and cloudy weather with much haze – Saw Sheerwaters and Albatrosses.

 4 pm: In steering sails – worked the Pumps as usual – Saw a Pintada bird and a Swallow

 6 pm: Tacked ship and in 1st reef Top Sails

 8 pm: Moderate breezes and dark cloudy weather

12 mid: Lightning from the Eastward weith light breezes and clear weather

 1 am: Ligntning all round the Compass.

 2 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy, in Top Gallant Sails.

 3 am: Clear weather

 4 am: Set Top Gallant Sails.

 6 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast

 8 am: Moderate breezes and hazy weather saw Flying fish Set Top Gallant Sails

10 am: Fresh breezes and cloudy washed the Gun, Orlop, and Cockpit Decks; and aired with Fires – Served Sour Krout – In 2 reef Main Top Sail – Tacked ship – Saw Sheerwaters and Albatrosses

12 noon: Fresh breezes and cloudy with much haze The Sun seldom seen – Assistant in company
