Bond's Providence Logbook Oct 28, 1792

Remarks &c Sunday 28th October 1792

 1 pm: Fresh gales and cloudy weather – Saw Tropic birds.

 2 pm: People employed washing and mending their Clothes

 5 pm: Skd the Pumps as usual

12 mid: Squally with light showers of rain – the wind unsettled

 2 am: Fresh breezes and settled weather

 4 am: Cloudy.

 5 am: Set the lower steering sail – Saw several Flying fish

 8 am: Served the usual Breakfast at 8 OClock – Fair weather Cleaned and aired below with fires.

 9 am: Mustered the ships company in Divisions, and performed Divine Service – Served out Sour Krout. Broached a Cask of Spruce Beer. & spoke the Assistant.

12 noon: A fresh gale and fair weather with haze. Assistant in company.
   Latitude Observed 18°:03′:22″ South
