Remarks &c from Timor towards St. Helena 27th October 1792

 1 pm: Fresh gale and fair weather – Sailmakers repairing sails

 4 pm: Set Top Gallant Sails

 5 pm: Worked the Pumps as usual

 6 pm: In Top Gallant sails and Fore Top Mast steering sail

 8 pm: Ditto Weather

12 mid: Ditto Weather

 4 am: Fine clear weather

 5 am: Set Top Gallant sails and lower & Fore Top Mast steering sails

 6 am: Tropic birds and sheerwaters seen

 8 am: Served thick Portable Soup Gruel for Breakfast

 9 am: Cleaned below and aired with Fires – Served Krout. People employed washing and mending their Clothes – Saw a Carey's Chicken and numbers of Flying fish – In Top Gallant sails and Fore steering sail.

12 noon: Fresh breezes and fair weather with haze. Assistant in company
   Latitude Observed 17°:13′·10″ South
