Bond's Providence Logbook May 26, 1792

Remarks &c Saturday 26 May 1792

 1 pm: Moderate breezes and fair weather

 3 pm: Veered away and moored ship, Best Bower in ¼ less 15 fathoms with a cable each way – Bearings when moored Point Venus N23°E – The Heads of Tarra from S10W to S27W

12 mid: Cloudy with small rain

 5 am: Sent a party to haul the Seine; but returned without success – received water per small Cutter

 7 am: Set up the Forge

 9 am: People employed washing and mending their clothes – Sailmakers repairing old sails – Carpenters about the Launch – Served fresh Pork, Plantains, Breadfruit Cocoa Nuts & Mahee to the People and received a moderate supply from the shore

12 noon: Fresh Breezes and fair weather
