Bond's Providence Logbook May 11, 1792

Remarks &c 11th May 1792

 1 pm: Calm and cloudy weather

 3 pm: At [a?] light breeze sprung up from the Southward.

 4 pm: Dark cloudy weather with rain

 8 pm: Light breezes and cloudy

 4 am: Calm.

 6 am: Carpenters employed about the greenhouse & Launch; and Coopers making Borachioes [Barricoes] for the Pinnace – People fitting the rigging &c.

 8 am: Served fresh Pork & Fruit as usual, & received but a moderate supply of Pibs &c.

10 am: A light breeze read the Articles of War, and punished James Coombes, Marine, with 12 lashes, for having carnal knowledge of the body of young female native, when he was affected with the venereal disease.

12 noon: At Noon moderate breeze and cloudy with very little rain.
