Do. Wr. Aired Sails and got up Top Gallt Masts. Cleaned and dryed below, and employed making Ropebands & Points for Spare Sails.

Moderate Breezes and hazy Wr. Mustered all the People and Saw that they were Clean. Dryed Sails & Received on board 10 Casks of Beer. Read the Articles of War etc. to the Ships Company.

Variable Wr and Rain. Dryed and Cleaned below. Sighted the Anchor and came too again as before. Finding my Best Bower Cable wore and this place not convenient to get provisions on board I determined to go up to Spithead.
